What to Expect - Advance Auto Parts Deliveries
With the upcoming launches of our two new partnerships, we want to continue to prepare Delivery Providers everywhere for what to expect.
Today's Update - Expiration of Delivery Requests
After launching, any On-demand Delivery requests that you receive from an Advance Auto Parts location will likely have an expiration clock running. This is out of our control which means we want to give you the details so that you can continue to succeed using Tonquin.
It's simple, any time an Advance Auto Parts delivery is initiated on Tonquin, the expiration clock starts for that request. This could mean that once the request for the delivery notifies/reaches you, the clock may, and will most likely, already be ticking.
Important - the clock does NOT start when it notifies you, it starts when the request is created by Advance Auto Parts.
We will be adding a clock on each request to simplify the experience shortly after the platform change occurs. Once the expiration time is reached without being accepted, the request will get cancelled. This makes it extremely important to be efficient and accept orders that you want to do quickly.
With the clock starting as soon as the request is created, we realize this is somewhat out of one individual's control so here we explain how and what's in your control to always be sure you have plenty of time to respond to an Advance Auto Parts delivery request.
We will continue to make updates as we learn alongside Delivery Providers.
This is not guaranteed but we're confident that this will be a feature.
