Brands such as Advance Auto Parts and ATD (Automotive Tire Distributors) within the highlighted area shown below, will be able to request on-demand deliveries through Tonquin!

If your application hasn't been processed yet,we appreciate your patience and we will be getting to it in the order it was received. We look forward to working with you!

How to get on-demand delivery requests

Partner (brands mentioned above) delivery requests will not come to Tonquin unless Delivery Providers are online and located near a possible pickup location.

Here is our estimate of the likelihood you'll get a request based on your distance from a pickup location.

0-2 miles = likely
2-6 miles = somewhat likely
6+ miles = not likely

You now might be thinking, “then where should I be to get requests?

With that said, we will be announcing more information such as active locations and best times to be available to get the most opportunities.

But keep in mind, if there is one of these brands in the shaded active area above that you drive near, they are active on the Tonquin platform.

Being online during the day

It's also really important to simply have your app switched to On-Duty.

This is important because Partner Deliveries first check to see if there is a Tonquin Delivery Provider available before sending out the request (then they see how far away you are).

So a request won't even come through if you are not online.

Important: Tonquin does not penalize for Acceptance Rate. Which means there is no harm in having your app online when you're available even if you're multi-apping or just want to see what's available.

Its recommended to be online between the hours of 7am and 7pm every day of the week! But we will get more specific with recommended times to be online shortly.

Why do this?

First, hopefully you can see that we are committed to the success of Delivery Providers using Tonquin.

But most importantly, we want to be able to do two things.

Pay you more than other gig platforms
If desired, give you a path towards predictability and or sustainable growth of your delivery business

You may see delivery requests for the Vendors pictured above coming from popular apps like Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash. Well, we are in a position to serve you those same requests but pay you more. IF you do these two things stated above.

Secondly, we want to get you out of the rat race and create a path towards predictable gig delivery (not worrying about over saturation of drivers) and sustainable growth (giving you a big enough piece of the pie where you can actually grow a delivery business beyond just your capacity).

But we'll always also have a path towards starting out and the casual gig driver that doesn't care so much about these things which is totally okay too :)
